1. List 10 jobs, each from a different branch of science. List: A. specific skills required for each skill B. The years of training and the degree required for it. C. Salary Range D. Job Outlook E. Volunteer opportunities F. How to contact people in the field for interviews 25 points!
2. Use beads or other appropriate material to make a model of the DNA molecule. It should be at least 2 feet long. Color-code for the different parts. 25 points! 3. Find 10 web sites for cells and review each one in a short paragraph. Include the URL. These must be 10 different web sites, not different pages in the same site. 25 points! 4. The following are 10 points apiece: A. Describe the Red Tide, what it is and what it does. B. Tell who John Ross was and what he discovered. C. Tell about 3 symbiotic relationships involving algae and invertebrates. D. Ice cream was often made at home using salted ice. Why salt ice? E. Look up the death toll of medieval plague pandemics and compare them with casualty figures for great wars. F. Explain the function of, and give an example of a mnemonic. 5.
